Appalling - to know that there were people who were victims of birthright. I have always (repeat till fade) been fascinated with history. Months ago, I was able to see a documentary about the Romanovs. And just three days ago, I was able to read an article about them.
Almost a century had passed yet they are still controversial. Yurovsky the traitor I may say, read a letter to the royal family - that they had to be executed. Nicholas' last word was "what" cause he couldn't understand what Yurovsky had said. Then and there, he was shot dead with his only son Alexei, a hemophiliac. Each soldier had a certain target. The daughters had only survived the bullets because they were wearing diamond corsets. It was then when the soldiers stripped off their clothes that they found hidden jewels. See, that only a proves diamonds are a girl's best friend. Kidding aside, though their life was spared for a short while from the bullets, they were killed by the Russian soldiers with their bayonets.
Alright I can't exactly tell the story. That's what I understood of the documentary and article.
The reason why they had to be executed was still stupid for me. Very, very stupid.
